According to the Public Relations Department of the Iranian Red Crescent Investment Company, on September 23, 2025, during the visit of Hamid Azizi, member of the Supreme Council of the Red Crescent Society, along with the CEOs of the Investment, Trading, and Construction companies of the Red Crescent to Birjand, a meeting was held regarding the Zaferanieh Birjand Project at the South Khorasan Governor’s Office, attended by the Governor of South Khorasan. Following the meeting, the delegation, accompanied by the Managing Director of the South Khorasan Red Crescent Society, visited the project site. During the meeting at the Governor’s Office, Seyed Mohammadreza Hashemi, Governor of South Khorasan, emphasized the significance of the project and expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Investment Company’s management and other officials involved in completing and commissioning the project. He described the Zaferanieh Birjand Project as a valuable initiative for the province’s economic development and stressed the importance of its timely operation. The issue of obtaining the final completion permit from the municipality and city council was also raised by Red Crescent managers. Subsequently, the CEOs of the Investment, Trading, and Construction companies, together with the Managing Director of the South Khorasan Red Crescent Society, visited the project. They reviewed the remaining construction tasks, the operational timeline, and related executive matters. A meeting was also held with unit buyers, during which their concerns and requests were heard, technical and specialized details of the project were discussed, and the schedule for the project’s commissioning was presented. Accordingly, given the progress of the construction operations — designed as a commercial–administrative complex — the owners have already begun interior decoration works, paving the way for the project’s official inauguration in the near future.
